Announcing the launch of the 100,000 Opportunities Initiative in L.A. County on Thursday, February 11, 2016. The 100,000 Opportunities Initiative is a coalition of leading U.S.-based companies committed to training and hiring 100,000 Americans between the ages of 16 and 24 who are out of school and not working by 2018.
On Thursday, February 11, 2016, there will be a major regional Job Fair and Forum at the L.A. Convention Center from 9am to 4pm that will feature more than 30 employers and many service providers. Several thousand youth are expected to attend.
Here is the website where youth can register and where there is additional information: http://100kopportunities.org/la/
Trying to get the word out to youth who are out of school or out of work to ensure as many of our region’s opportunity youth as possible have the chance to attend this event.
Thank you and have a wonderful weekend. 🙂
